Canton Pomeranians

Parker, better known as AM CH Pufpride Sweet Dreams is the Number 1 Top Winning and Top Producing Pomeranian of all time in the USA.  He was bred by Virginia and Warren Dimmick of Pufpride Kennels.  He was made famous by the expert care, handling and perseverance of Noble Inglett who earlier pushed several other dogs in the American top Pomeranian chart.  Because of his show and breeding record, I would say that today, intenationally as well as within the USA, Parker is the most sought after bloodline in the world.
 
Accordingly, two years ago, I sent my champion bitch, PH CH Canton Gambling Fame to the US to be bred Parker.  This produced a litter of two puppies of both sexes.  The male was named Canton Dreamer at Allayn and the female was named Canton Daydream at Allayn.  The Allayn suffix was included to show my appreciation to Mary Allan of Allayn Pomeranians for whelping and raising the puppies for me.  Daydream was left behind in the US with the objective of breeding her to some new lines in the US and sharing puppies with Mary.

Dreamer was sent home last year finishing his Philippine title quite quickly. Last Sunday, August 24, 2008, he won Best in Show under Australian-Philippine Judge Kevin Harris and on the other ring won Group One under Philippine Judge Dr Jose Mendiola.
 
 
Mickee, better known as AM CH Pufpride Million Dollar Baby, is the “Baby” of Virginia Dimmick of Pufpride Kennels.  He is the half brother of  Parker's dam..  One would wonder, why I would talk about Mickee, who is not so well known like his world famous relative…Parker.  Is he better than Parker?  I am inclined to say YES because of the following reasons:

 
 
…Mickee was the favorite of Virginia.  I suppose, it is very much like Gladys Dyke’s Champions Hadleigh Shining Star and Twinkle Star;  Shining Star was the big winner but Twinkle Star was the favorite.  Like Shining Star, Parker was sold. Like Twinkle Star, Mickee remained with the breeder until he passed away.  Who is better?
 
…Mickee does not have the faults of Parker.
 
…Mickee was finished quickly by owner handler.  It took Noble, a professional handler months to finish Parker.
 
 
Again, about two years ago, I purchased a Mickee son, Ph Ch Pufpride Cash Attraction.  He, too finished very quickly his Philippine title defeating a TOP Philippine Pom several times.  I suppose he is the reason why that Pom retired.  Cash’s pedigree is 75% similar to Parker because his sire is a half brother of Parker’s dam and his dam is the full sister of Parker's sire.  He has produced beautiful sound puppies for me that will soon make their debut in the Philippine show ring.
 
Last Tuesday, August 26, 2008, my 3 Pufpride imports arrived.  They have been purchased last March but I convinced Virginia to ship them to me about this time.
 

On the Left:  Pufpride Sundance Kid of Canton  is  a half brother half sister breeding of Mickee. On the center:  Pufpride Ashlin Dreamaker of Canton as a young puppy with picture taken March 2008.  On the right is Pufpride Ashlin Dreamaker of Canton as she was when she arrived the other day.  Ashlin is a Mickee grandson and also the grandgaughter of a Cash female littermate. Not pictured is Pufpride Sundance Sallyanna who also goes back to Parker relatives.
 
So really, this week was really a Parker week!
